With over 40 years in the veterinary industry, Vicky is the visionary behind Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, which she founded in 2003. Her journey began as a qualified veterinary nurse, followed by the completion of her Diploma in Veterinary Practice Management in 2002. Since then, she has grown the business into a respected, community-focused clinic built on values of care, teamwork, and leadership.

A lifelong learner and passionate leader, Vicky has completed numerous advanced programs, including executive leadership training with the Lincoln Institute and business training with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (USA). Her focus is on developing people, and she is known for her ability to bring out the best in every member of the team.

Dr Ilona Hudson is a Partner and Senior Veterinarian at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing a wealth of expertise across animal chiropractic care, osteopathic treatment, traditional Chinese medicine, and veterinary rehabilitation. With additional qualifications in animal chiropractic, acupuncture, and canine rehabilitation, Ilona’s work focuses on supporting dogs and horses to move, heal, and thrive.

Dr Adam is a veterinarian at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing over a decade of experience and a calm, confident presence to the surgical suite. Since graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology, Dr Adam has developed a strong interest in surgery and takes pride in delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

With a down-to-earth style and a focus on patient wellbeing, Dr Adam enjoys the hands-on nature of veterinary work and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both animals and their humans. Whether it’s a routine procedure or a more complex case, Dr Adam approaches each day with care, curiosity, and a steady hand.

Dr Katie is an experienced veterinarian at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing a diverse background in mixed rural practice, emergency medicine, and small animal care. After graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2006, she has built a career working across emergency clinics, the RSPCA, and for the past decade, exclusively with small animals and exotic species.

Dr Amy is a dedicated veterinarian at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing a strong academic background and a passion for animal care. After completing her Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours I), she went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney.

Throughout her studies, Amy developed a particular interest in wildlife and exotic species, complementing her work with domestic animals. Her time working in hospitality during her education helped hone her communication and client service skills, making her a compassionate and approachable member of the team. With over 35 years of experience in veterinary nursing and 10 years of TAFE teaching, Donna Gilroy brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her role as Practice Manager at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services. Donna is highly organised, approachable, and passionate about supporting both the team and the clients who walk through the doors.

Her qualifications include Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (1988 and 2000), and she is proudly AVNAT accredited as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Donna’s experience across clinical work, education, and management ensures that the day-to-day operations of the clinic run smoothly and professionally.

Born on 24th January, Donna is a proud Aquarian, known for independence, loyalty, and a love for innovation—qualities she brings into every aspect of her work.

Outside of the clinic, Donna enjoys spending time outdoors with her mini horses and pets, or practicing her archery skills whenever she gets the chance. Her favourite quote, “Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition,” perfectly captures her quick wit and sense of humour.

With 25 years of experience in the animal industry, Kacey Eggelton is a cornerstone of the team at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services. She has worked in a variety of veterinary clinics, spent five years at an equestrian centre, and has been a valued part of the Noah’s Ark family for the past 19 years.

Kacey holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and continually furthers her skills through a variety of training courses, keeping up with the ever-evolving world of animal care. Known as a true all-rounder, Kacey is confident in surgery, consulting, and medical nursing, and thrives on the variety her role brings every day. Her approach is guided by her favourite quote, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail,” reflecting her proactive, organised style both in the clinic and in life.

Laura Harvey is a Senior Veterinary Nurse at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing 20 years of diverse experience in the animal care industry. From small family-owned clinics to a large animal hospital, a local pound, boarding facilities, and even teaching future veterinary nurses at TAFE NSW, Laura has loved every step of her journey.

She’s passionate about sharing knowledge, especially in puppy preschool, aggression concerns, and radiology. In the clinic, Laura is known as the Dental Queen for her obsession with animal dental hygiene. She enjoys mentoring student nurses and team members, combining her hands-on skills with her natural ability to teach.

Laura’s education includes graduating as a Veterinary Nurse with academic excellence in 2008 and earning her Training and Assessment qualification in 2020.

With 19 years of experience in veterinary nursing, Melanie Hockey is a trusted and highly skilled member of the team at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services. Before beginning her career in animal care, Melanie gained hands-on skills through her work in retail and electronic car parts, including precision hand-soldering work—experience that sharpened her eye for detail and her practical approach.

Since transitioning to veterinary nursing, Melanie has built a reputation as a multi-skilled nurse, confidently supporting pets and owners across all aspects of care. Alison Watson has spent her entire veterinary career with Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, bringing passion and experience to every aspect of her work. After graduating at the top of her class in 2011 with a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, Alison has continued to expand her knowledge, including completing specialised training in wildlife treatment and care through Taronga’s veterinary professional programs.

Alison’s skills span across a broad range of nursing duties, with a strong interest in wildlife care, preventative health, and client education. Guided by her favourite motto, “Life’s too short – enjoy it now,” Alison brings positivity and enthusiasm to every interaction, helping both animals and owners feel supported and at ease.

Born on 4th April, Alison shares her birthday with Maya Angelou, the celebrated poet and activist known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering spirit—qualities Alison brings to her work every day.

When she’s not at the clinic, Alison enjoys camping by a river after adventurous motorbike rides, making the most of the outdoors whenever she can.

Lauren Gunson joined the team at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services in 2024 after relocating from Melbourne to NSW, bringing fresh energy and a genuine passion for animal care. Lauren holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Certificate II in Animal Care, and is known for her warmth, empathy, and ability to support animals, clients, and her colleagues alike.

Guided by her favourite quote, “What is done with love is done well,” by Vincent Van Gogh, Lauren believes in approaching every patient and task with kindness and dedication.

Born on 8th February, Lauren sits near the Aquarius-Pisces cusp, blending creativity, empathy, and a nurturing spirit—all qualities she brings to her work, helping both animals and their families feel supported and cared for.

With four years at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Services, Claire Gilroy is a familiar face to both clients and their pets. As a qualified veterinary nurse and receptionist, she brings a rare combination of warmth and efficiency to every interaction. Known for her incredible memory for people and animals, Claire helps create a welcoming and personalised experience at the clinic.

Outside of work, Claire loves riding motorbikes and going camping with her partner and their three dogs—proof that her love of animals follows her well beyond the workplace.

Alli Drane is a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse at Noah’s Ark Vet Clinic, bringing over eight years of hands-on experience to the team. With a strong foundation in emergency and surgical nursing, Alli has worked in a fast-paced emergency centre for five years and spent two years assisting an Orthopedic Vet with advanced procedures, including full hip replacements in dogs.

She holds a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing, Cert III in Captive Animals, Cert II in Animal Studies, and a specialised certificate in Small Animal Anaesthetics, which she completed in 2019. Her expertise includes surgical assistance, monitoring anaesthetics, patient care, and client communication, all underpinned by her calm and confident approach to low-stress handling.

Now thriving in the GP setting for over a year, Alli continues to bring empathy, precision, and a steady hand to every case she encounters. Her favourite part of the job? Helping pets feel safe and supported while guiding their humans through the journey with clarity and care.
